Section 15 in The West Bengal University of Technology Act, 2000
15. Chief executive body of the University.
(1)The Executive Council shall be the chief executive body of the University.(2)The administration, management and control of the University and the income thereof shall vest in the Executive Council which shall control and administer the property and the funds of the University, subject to the general supervision of the General Council.
