'B' GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER
Petitioner an establishment covered under the Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 (for short, 'the E.S.I Act') pursuant to the notification extending the operation of E.S.I Act to the educational institutions in Karnataka, it is said was subject matter of challenge by the Managements of Independent CBSE Schools Association Karnataka and Others Vs. Union of India and others1, whence a learned single Judge, by order dated 09.04.2012 held the notification valid.
According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, that order of the learned single Judge is carried in Writ Appeal No.4812/2012 and is admitted on 03.04.2013. If that is so, it is made clear that any 1 ILR 2012 Kar 2664 3 W.P.9626/12 interim order in that appeal would enure to the benefit of the petitioner and that the petitioner will be bound by the decision in that appeal.
This petition is, accordingly disposed of.
