Section 84 in The Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
84. Right of operation.
- No tourist permit shall be deemed to confer the right of operation in any State not included in the authorisation referred to in rule83 nor shall it exempt the owner of a vehicle from the payment of tax or fee,if any, leviable in any State.
