181. Power to acquire land.

- The Development Authority may acquire land for New Town, Kolkata, for carrying out the purposes of this Act.Explanation. - "Carrying out the perposes of the Act" shall be deemed to be public purpose within the meaning of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, (1 of 1894).
