8. [ Authorities under the Act. [Substituted by Tamil Nadu Act 39 of 1996.]
- There shall be the following classes of authorities under this Act, namely:-(a)the Commissioner;(aa)[ Additional Commissioner;](b)Joint Commissioners;(c)Deputy Commissioners; and(d)Assistant Commissioners.]
