Section 109(2) in The Goa, Daman and Diu School Education Rules, 1986
(2)Remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled up in the following manner strictly on merit.(a)eligibility of the candidate shall be -(i)the candidates medium of instruction at the secondary level should be the medium of the training course for which the admission is sought.(ii)the candidate should have passed the S.S.C. Exam with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate and should have passed English, Mathematics and Science subjects. However in case of candidates passing XII class, the requirement of percentage of 50% marks in the S.S.C. Examination shall be relaxed.
