Section 124 in The Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001
124. Registrar and other officers to be public servants.
- The Registrar, a person exercising the powers of the Registrar, a person appointed to audit the accounts of a society or to hold an inquiry or to make an inspection, or a person appointed as a Cooperative Authority, the Co-operative Tribunal or a Liquidator shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (XLV of 1860).
