1. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the respondent has filed its counter-affidavit recently. He would like to file rejoinder thereto.

2. Let the rejoinder be filed within six weeks from today.

3. He also states that in the meantime, the examination of the final semester (4th Semester) of LL.M. course is scheduled to take place on 15.05.2023. He, therefore, prays for interim protection allowing the petitioner to appear in the said examination, subject to the final outcome of the instant petition.

4. This court is not inclined to accept the prayer of the petitioner as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent states that the petitioner is expelled from the University since February, 2023 and the petitioner does not fulfill the statutory requirement of 75 per cent of the minimum attendance.

5. In view of the aforesaid, this court is not inclined to accept the prayer of the petitioner to allow him to appear in the said examination commencing from 15.05.2023.

6. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties are directed to file their written synopsis along with relevant judgments and the same be kept ready in hardcopy to be presented at the time of hearing of the matter.
