Section 1(3) in The West Bengal Standards Of Weights And Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
(3)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (4), this section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act or for different areas or for different classes of undertakings or for different classes of goods.
