Section 7(2)(b) in Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994

(b)if such person is appointed otherwise -

(i)revert him to his former post; or

(ii)deal with him in such other manner as the terms and conditions of the previous appointment permit.
