Section 14(1) in The U.P. Basic Education Act, 1972
(1)The State Government may delegate any of its [powers, except the power to make rules] [Substituted by U.P. Act No. 18 of 2000 (w.e.f. 21.6.1999).] under this Act to the Director or to any other officer or authority subordinate to it subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified.
