Section 3(1) in The Orissa Forest Service, Class II (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1985
(1)On the decision of the Government to recruit by promotion, the Departmental Committee constituted under Rule 13 of the rules shall meet at such intervals to consider the cases of eligible Forest Rangers. The number of Forest Rangers to be included in the list shall not be more than twice the number of vacancies likely to be filled up on that occasion. For this purpose records of all the eligible Forest Rangers and other particulars and information as are required should be furnished by the Forest Department.
