Section 48A(2) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(2)The number of Ward Committees in a Corporation shall he equal to the population of the Municipal area divided by one lakh :Provided that fractions less than half shall be omitted and the fractions equal to half or more shall be rounded off to the next whole number.
