Facts:
1. The appeal was scheduled for hearing on 25/3/2009. But, the appellant did not avail of this opportunity. He has, however, sought exemption on the ground of old age.
2. On perusal of the documents submitted by the appellant, it is observed that he has asked for information relating to the terms and conditions for award of LPG Dealership, the grounds for revisions of various charges applicable for the petroleum products, etc. The CPIO has replied, with which the appellant is not satisfied. Hence, this appeal before the Commission. He has, however, not specified the information, as per section 2(f) of the Act, which has been refused to him.
Decision:
3. An information seeker should ask for information, which should be available in any material form, as per section 2(f) of the Act. If necessary, he should seek inspection of the relevant records and files in respect of the decision making processes regarding allotment of LPG Distributorship, the policy for revision of various rates and charges in respect of the sale of petroleum products and any other related action taken by the respondent.
4. The appellant is accordingly advised to seek specific information, after ascertaining its availability with the concerned PIO. He may also seek inspection of the relevant documents so as to identify the required information, which should be furnished to him as per the provisions of the Act.

5. The CPIO is directed to allow inspection of the relevant documents on a date and time mutually convenient to both the parties within 15 working days from the date of issue of this decision.
6. The appeal is thus disposed of.
