Section 285D(2) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(2)Before cancelling or suspending a licence under sub-section (1), the [District Collector] [Substituted by Tamil Nadu Municipal Laws (Amendment) Act, 2003 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2003).] shall give the licensee, an opportunity of making his representation.
