(6)A Police Welfare Fund, under the administration and control of the Welfare Board, shall be created for the welfare activities and programmes for police personnel, which will have two components:(a)outright financial grant by the state; and(b)matching grant by the state to the contributions made by the police personnel, towards the welfare fund.
