26. Deletion of names.
- If it appears to the Returning Officer at any time before final publication of the roll that owing to inadvertence or error or otherwise, the name of any dead or retired workman or other workman or person who is otherwise not entitled to be registered in the electoral roll, has been included in the electoral roll and that remedial action should be taken under these rules, the Returning Officer shall delete the name of such workman or person, as the case may be. from the electoral roll.
