(xviii)generally to do all such other acts and things whether incidental to the powers aforesaid or not, as may be necessary or desirable to further the objects of the University as to cultivate and promote humanities, social sciences, fine arts, sciences, professional studies, technology and other branches of learning and to promote the interest of its students;
