Section 132(1) in Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016
(1)The Vice-Chancellor may, on the recommendation of the Management Council, supported by a majority of not less than two-third of its members present at its meeting, such majority comprising not less than one-half of its members, remove the name of any person from the register of graduates for such period as the Vice-Chancellor thinks fit, for any of the reasons mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 131.
