Section 24(3) in The Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, 1948
(3)No deduction shall be made from the wages of any employee in a residential hotel, restaurant or eating house on account of any holiday given to him under subsection (1). If an employee is employed on a daily wage, he shall nonetheless be paid his daily wage for the holiday.
