Section 261(1) in Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996
(1)Reservation of vacancies for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be 16% and 12% respectively or in accordance with the orders of the Government for such reservation in force at the time of recruitment i.e. by direct recruitment and by promotion.
