praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court
may be pleased to issue an order, direction or writ, more particularly one in the nature of
WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent No.2 in not promoting the
petitioner under normal promotion channel from Officer Scale - Il to Office Scale - Ill as
violative of promotion rules of Officers in Cadre Middle Management (Scale - II) - Group
A to Middle Management (Scale - Ill) Group - A of respondent No.1 Bank, contrary to
the principles laid down under seniority - cum - merit criteria and violative of Articles 14
and 16(4) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respodnents No.1 and
2 to take steps for promoting the petitoner from Officer Scale - !1 to Officer Scale - III
with effect from 10.07.2020 with all consequential benefits. ~
