Section 2(1)(b) in Chhattisgarh Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Regulation of Social Status Certification) Rules, 2013

(b)"Applicant" means a person, applying for Certificate in prescribed manner, verification of Certificate, a person whose Certificate is to be verified as decided by the District Level Certificates Verification Committee, or a person whose employer, educational institution, local authority, the Central Government or the State Government, as the case may be, has referred his Certificate to the District Level Certificate Verification Committee for verification;
