Section 17(1) in Uttarakhand Fire and Emergency Service, Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2016
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, the Chief Fire Officer may enter and inspect any building including a building under construction if such inspection appears necessary for ascertaining the adequacy of fire prevention and fire safety measures in such buildings.
