Section 37(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Rules, 1960
(1)no accommodation provided in compliance with these rules shall be used, or appropriated for use, by passengers. No galley or store room provided in compliance with these rules shall be used, or appropriated for use, for the preparation or storage of food for passengers.
