(1)Whenever any animal in charge of any person dies, the person in charge thereof shall, within twenty-four hours, either, -(a)convey the carcass to a place provided or appointed for this purpose under section 336 for the final disposal of carcasses of dead animals; or(b)give notice of the death to the Chief Officer of the Municipality, whereupon he shall cause the carcass to be disposed of.
