The absence of a teacher including probationer of the University from duty, whether on leave or on foreign service or on deputation and who holds a lien on a post, shall not, if he is otherwise fit, render him ineligible on his return for appointment to a permanent or officiating vacancy in the class, category, grade or post which may fall vacant during his absence.Note. - Persons holding lien in the University and living abroad should be specially notified about the vacancies for direct recruitment.
