Section 4 in The Bihar irrigation Act, 1997

4. Irrigation work to vest in Government.

- Every irrigation work and all lands, earth, pathway, gates, berms and hodges belonging to, or forming part of or standing on any such irrigation work and every embanked tow path along the embankment maintained by the State Government shall vest in the State Government.
