Section 7(9)(a) in The Bihar Consolidation of Holdings and Prevention of Fragmentation Rules, 1958

(a)The resignation of a member of the Village Advisory Committee may be accepted by the Consolidation Officer and the vacancy created may be filled up by the Consolidation Officer in accordance with the provisions of the rules.
