(5)Applications from private candidates to appear at the test examination should be submitted not later than the 15th of November, in the case of candidates for the annual examination, or 15th March in the case of candidates for the supplementary examination, to the Headmaster/ Principal of the Government High/Higher Secondary School at which the preliminary test is held in which they desire to appear and should contain information as to (i) the caste or race of the candidate (ii) his place of residence, (iii) his father's name, and (iv) what classical language, vernacular language, and additional subject he intends to offer.(Government Resolution no. 3961-E., dated the 19th November 1925.)
