Section 304 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
304. Power of Municipal Commissioner to affix shafts, etc., or ventilation of drain or cesspool. -
For the purpose of ventilating any drain or cesspool, whether vested in the Corporation or not, the Municipal Commissioner may, in accordance with such regulations as may be made by the Corporation in this behalf, erect upon any premises or affix to the outside of any building or to any free any such shaft or pipe as may appear to him to be necessary.
