Section 124 in Uttarakhand Co-Operative Societies Act, 2003
124. Registrar and other officers to be public servants.
- The Registrar, or any person appointed, or authorized to conduct audit under section 64 or to hold enquiry under section 65 or to make inspection under section 66,or authorize under section 123 to conduct inspection, an arbitrator or a member of the board of arbitrators to whom any dispute is referred under section 71, or a member of the Tribunal or a liquidator, or any person authorized by the Registrar under section 93 to make attachment and sale (or any officer of a co-operative society) shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, (Act XIV of 1860).
