Section 42 in Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Act, 2011
42. Term of office of Executive Sabha.
- An Executive Sabha Member shall hold office as Executive Sabha Member until-(a)he ceases to be a Member of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Sabha, or(b)he resigns his office in writing under his hand addressed to the Chief Executive and the resignation shall take effect from the date of its acceptance by the Chief Executive, or(c)his nomination as Executive Sabha Member is cancelled by the Chief Executive, or(d)a fresh nomination is made in his place by the Chief Executive.
