Section 21(ii) in The U.P. (Regulation Of Building Operations) Directions, 1960
(ii)Every room except store shall, for admission of light have at least one window, opening directly to open air, or in an open verandah. The aggregate open area of all the windows shall not be less than 10 per cent of the floor area.
