(2)The Government may also cause an enquiry to be made into the quality of teaching, research, and other work conducted in the University. The Government may also cause a performance audit of the University or its institutions or any officer of the University other than the Chancellor: Provided that the Government shall give notice to the University of its intention to cause such inspection or enquiry or performance audit to be made and the University shall be entitled to be represented thereat.
