                       ORDER (ORAL)

Justice L. Narasimha Reddy, Chairman :-

The applicant is an employee of the Indian Meteorological Department (for short, IMD), the 2nd respondent herein. This OA is filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to prepone the date of the promotion of the applicant as Meteorologist Grade-I from 24.03.1989 to 01.01.1984 and to modify the date of subsequent in situ promotion with reference to the date on which he completed his minimum residency period. Reliance is placed on the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No.6864/2011 Union of India Vs. S.K. Murti dated 02.05.2011 . Other ancillary reliefs are also claimed.
2. Respondents filed counter affidavit opposing the OA. It is stated that the applicant is not entitled to the benefits, he has claimed in the OA.
3. We heard Shri M.K. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for applicant and Ms. Sumedha Sharma, learned counsel for respondents.

4. Similar issue arose for consideration before this Tribunal in OA No.1229/2016. After considering the relevant rules and the precedents on the subject, the OA was dismissed through order dated 30.11.2018. Following the same, we dismiss this OA also.

There shall be no order as to costs.
