Section 22 in The Collection of Statistics Act, 2008
22. General penalty.–
Whoever, commits an offence under this Act for which no penalty is prescribed elsewhere than in this section, shall be punishable with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with a fine which may extend to two thousand rupees or, in thecase of a company, with a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both.
