Section 7(1) in The Maharashtra State Reservation (of seats for admission in educational institutions in the State and for appointments or posts in the public services under the State) for Educationally and Socially Backward Category (ESBC) Act, 2014
(1)The Government may, in public interest, by order, direct the Competent Authority, from time to time, to make an enquiry or to take appropriate proceedings under this Act specified in the order, and the Competent Authority shall report to the Government, the result of the enquiry made or the proceedings taken by him within such period as may be prescribed.
