8. Resignation of the Chairman and members of the Committee and the Board and filling of casual vacancies.
(1)The member of the Committee or the Board other than the Chairman may by giving notice in writing to the Chairman resign his membership;(2)The Chairman may resign by letter addressed to the Government;(3)[ A resignation shall take effect from the date of communication of its acceptance or on the expiry of 30 days from the date of resignation whichever is earlier.(4)When a vacancy occurs or is likely to occur in the membership of the Committee or the Board, the Chairman shall submit a report to Government immediately.
