Section 7(1) in The Bureau of Indian Standards (Recruitment to Scientific Cadre) Regulations, 2002
(1)Any recruitments by lateral entry through deputation/direct recruitment at the level of Scientist-G and above, upto Scientist-G, shall be done after ascertaining that the total sanctioned strength of the cadre is not exceeded and after prescribing the age, qualification and experience, as appropriate.
