8. Resignation of office by member and filling up of casual vacancies.
(1)Any member may resign his office by giving notice thereof in writing, to the Government, and on such resignation being accepted, shall be deemed to have vacated his office.(2)A casual vacancy in the office of member may be filled up, as conveniently as may be, and a member appointed to fill such vacancy shall hold office for the unexpired portion of the term of the office of his predecessor.
