Section 15 in The Punjab Minimum Wages Rules, 1950
15. Disposal of business.
- All business shall be considered at a meeting of the Committee. [ - ] [The words 'Advisory Committee' omitted by the Punjab Government Notification No. 9110/8801-Lab-58/68593, dated 28.8.1958.] or the Board as the case may be, and shall be decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting. In the event of an equality of the votes, the Chairman shall have a casting vote :Provided that the Chairman may, if he thinks fit, direct that any matter shall be decided by the circulation of necessary papers and securing written opinion of the members :Provided further that no decision on any question which is referred under the 1st proviso shall be taken unless supported by not less than a two- thirds majority of the members.
