Section 13(1) in Assam Madrassa Education (Provincialisation of Services of Employees and Re-Organization of Madrassa Educational Institutions) Act, 2018
(1)In appropriate cases, if there is already an existing Madrassa Educational Institution nearby, and the enrolment of the students does not justify more than one institution in the same locality, or there are other sufficient reasons so to do, the State Government, in the public interest and for reasons to be recorded in writing may, order merger or shifting of the institution from one place to another, or may order amalgamation of two or more existing institutions.
