457. Punishment for acquiring share or interest etc. with Municipality
- Any Councillor who knowingly acquires directly or indirectly any share or interest in any contract made with or any work done for the Municipality except as a shareholder (other than a Director) in an incorporated company or as a member of a co-operative society shall be deemed to have committed the offence punishable under section 168 of the Indian Penal Code.
