Section 4(1) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Building Rules, 1972
(1)Every person who intends to construct, reconstruct or alter or add to a hut shall submit an application to the executive authority in the form specified in Appendix A-l together with a site plan in triplicate of the land in which the hut is to be constructed, reconstructed, or altered or added to complying with the requirements specified in Appendix-B as far as may be necessary. He shall also furnish information as to the purpose for which the hut is proposed to be constructed, reconstructed or altered or added to.
