Section 106(1) in The Orissa Local Fund Service (Pension) Rules, 1980
(1)In all cases referred to in Rules 104 and 105 the Disbursing Officer must take precautions to prevent impositions, and must, at least once a year, require proof independent of that furnished by the life certificate of the continued existence of the pensioner.
