Section 3(5) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Statutes, 1990
(5)The Chancellor shall upon receipt of a proposal from the Vice-Chancellor, nominate one Eminent Agricultural Scientist on the Executive Council. He shall become a member of the Executive Council for three years from the date of his nomination.
