Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
pleased to pass an interim order, directing the 2nd respondent to engage
the petitioners as Assistant Pharmacists on contract basis as directed in
Exhibit P3 Order with immediate effect, pending final disposal of the writ
petition.
This petition again coming on for orders upon perusing the petition
and the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and this Court's orders dated
4/5/22 in IA 1/21 and 19/05/2022 and upon hearing the arguments of M/S
S.KRISHNAMOORTHY, SNEHA ROSE, P.S.ARUNA Advocates for the petitioners, M/S
R.LAKSHMI NARAYAN for R2 and of SHRI.P.C.SASIDHARAN for R3, the court
passed the following:

ORDER
Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that, nearly 20 of the applicants have submitted their request for appointment before the SUPPLYCO, based on the direction issued by this Court, but none of those applicants have been appointed. Learned Standing Counsel for the SUPPLYCO submits, on instructions that, as on date, only 3 applications are received.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the persons who have submitted their applications are willing to appear at the Head Office of the SUPPLYCO with requisite identification documents, as also their profile in the Kerala Public Service Commission website, so that the process of temporary appointment can be hastened.
3. Learned Standing Counsel requests for sufficient time to the SUPPLYCO to make necessary arrangements. WP(C) No.14607/2022 3/4 W.P.(C)Nos.17637 of 2020, 871 of 2021 and 14607 of 2022 2
4. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to make necessary arrangements for verifying the identity and PSC profile of the willing candidates and if satisfied, to appoint them in terms of the directions of this Court. While effecting such appointment, the inter say seniority of the willing candidates in the PSC rank list shall also be taken into account.
The willing candidates shall appear at the Head Office of the SUPPLYCO at 11.am on 01.06.2022.
