10. Registration of semen banks.
(1)On and from the date commencement of this Act, no person (including any Firm, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Company, Producer Company, Institution, NGO, Breeders' Association, Trust, Department of Central or State Government, Co-operative Society or any other agency), shall establish and operate a semen bank without obtaining a certificate of registration from the Authority.(2)The certificate of registration referred to in sub-section (l) shall be issued in such manner and subject to such conditions, as may be prescribed.
