(1)In the Pan Masala Packing Machines (Capacity Determination and Collection of Duty) Rules, 2008, as published in the Official Gazette vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number G.S.R. 127 (E), dated the 1st July, 2008, rule 8 shall stand amended and shall be deemed to have been amended retrospectively, in the manner specified in column (2) of the Fourth Schedule, on and from the date specified in column (3) of that Schedule.
